Aishvaryam youth festival- 2018

Three day's of youth festival.....26 to 28 Oct. 2018.


This year Youth festival "Aishvaryam Yuva manthan" organised by Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University and host was " Takshshila Institute of  Science and commerce Collage". Today I must say with happiness that This festival is not only festival like religion but also it is festival of youth and festival of creative artist.

Here are given task by Dilip Barad sir, So I will go to share briefly my good and bad experiences about three day's.


  • Kala Yatra:-


This festival starting with" Kala Yatra"."Kala Yatra" opened by vice chancller of MKBU Girishbhai Patel and Head of sport department Dilipsinh Gohel at morning 8 O' clock.






 I also like to join in the 'Kala Yatra'. It is interesting because there was involved many collages and Institute. We observed many thing there. In this 'yatra' used colorful theme with appropriate subject like as
  • Save Environment, Animal..
  • Kayam churna
  • Different God and Goddess
  • Bridge of Lakadiya
  • Alang shipyard
  • folk dance
  • About MKBU
  • Famous Places of Bhavnagar
  • Nationalism 'Army'
  • Western life style
  • Difference religion
  • About Gandhiji
  • Save Culture







" Kala Yatra" was come to amfi theater at 11 O'clock. This program opened for students by chief guest as Manbha Mori, Girish Patel, Manshukh Mandaliya and Brijraj Gadhvi. They all are say about  their flace back and appreciative all participant.

  • Poetry:-

On 26 many events organised same time So I can't attend all events but I went to department of Gujarati for listen poetry. All poetry was good and effective. Most of the students writes and concentrated on rhyme scheme and entertainment of audience. They didn't care of subject and themes. Mostly participants were involved natural thing connect to daily life styles. Here I will give you some themes of poetry and poem:
  • Matri nu Mulya
  • Jivan Anjali hajo
  • Kalam ni katha
  • Nahi varasto varsad
  • Tu yad ave che
  • Dipavli
  • Kevi majani dosti




  • One-Act play:-

On 27 Oct. I have seen some one act play at 'Atal auditorium'. I have seen first play was love story. It play write by Javerchand Meghani. In this play chief character was Ratan. center themes of that play was that overflow love of husband and wife and fulfill their promise still death. That play performed very well. In this play actors were behave like as original husband and wife. This play used good property, background and lighting.




Another play is represented very well class conflict, love affairs and feminism of our society. In this play 'Kabutri ' was chief character. She loves to princes and his father but both are don't know about her. She is beautiful girls but She came to law caste. Another things was that low voice of women and tortured by male. When starting play with madness of prince then they went to flaceback and end of the play with madness. So here double roll of the Kabutri.




Third play was about dream of heaven. In that play central character was Babu. He was good person but accidentally he was died and he went to in heaven and met god of Indra and enjoy with Indra. He love to Apsara. Her name was Devankshi. In this play reflected to lust of heaven and women. That play well present comedy by characters of Babu.




I have seen fourth play was mane" Aurang zeb ot muze fakra". This play most effective for audience. When I was seen that play I feel like I saw film.I have no more words for appreciate this play. This play chief themes nationalism and presented condition of Jammu- Kashmir, bad behavior with Soldiers and careless family...etc. At the end of the play happy ending.

Last one act play I have seen our department play " Sikka ni triji baju". This play related to LGBT person.  What types problem and behavior with them by society. This play put condition of family conversation excellently. All character performance very contrapuntally, all things are good but I didn't able to listen dislodges that day because sound system was not properly support.





  • Painting and Cartooning:-

On 27 Oct. Organised at External department both competition Poster making and Cartooning. I have participant in both competition. I have good experiences that day. This competition stared in 8 to 10:30 and 2 to 4:30. I try to do always best painting. Here are give some subjects of Poster making and Cartooning:
  • Education system
  • Monghvari
  •  Be too
  • Web of Mobile....etc.




  • Some critic point and suggestion:-

We have schedule three days so In this timetable don't used because they have no perfect time managements and proper places. Another question was that What connection with name of performance places. For example, "Shree kiritsinhji Gohil natya much"[ Atal Auditorium]. I know Atal auditorium but I was confused to that name. I observe that Mostly performance places name related high caste.I also like collage cord system and live stream in Uni. website. 

  • Ending of youth festival:-

Last day during 8 to 12:30 Skit and instolation and classical dance events...etc. Still 4:30 to 10:30 Most of guests were came like as Judge of court  K.K. Shukla, Jyant thakkar, Cherman of BJP Jitu vaghani, Mayabhai Ahir...etc.Those three days were mostly waste of time and money in welcoming guest and boring speech. At last night If  Participant has achieved  first, second and third number in all events so they all were give medal and certificate. 

I have say that Three days were enjoyable for all participant and youth. I have never forget those days.

Dryden's Essay:of Dramatic Poesy

Dryden's Essay...


                              Here given task by Dilip Barad Sir, Here put link of  task. I will try to give response according my understanding. So let's starts....

                                               Our English department is creative. In department We learn topic difference way. on 19th September, We learnt 'Dryden's essay of  Dramatic Poesy' by flip learning. I prefer flip learning rather than another teaching learning method because I can learn flip learning  with enjoy and it is very benefited method. But after watching short video than task given by sir. So, Here is my answer give task.

Que.-1) Do you any difference between Aristotle's definition of Tragedy and Dryden's definition of Play? 

Ans.:-

                            John Dryden is one of the greatest essayist. He is not only dramatist, translator, playwright but he also first critic in English literature. Dryden says that "My aim is to vindicate English writer." " The Work of Virgil" translated by John Dryden.





                             In this video We can observe many minor different things between Aristotle and Dryden's definition. Aristotle always say about the imitation of an action but Dryden say that lively image of human nature, representing its passions and humors and instruction of mankind. with the word of catharsis where as Dryden's definition ended with delight and instructions of mankind.


Que.:-2) If you are supposed to give your personal predilection,would you be on the side of the Ancient or the modern? Please give reasons.


Ans.:-

                                I would like to prefer Ancient side. Because Ancient means root of the modern. People thinks that Modern side always increase new knowledge, new manner, new tradition idea,information...etc. My opinion that Modern always tries to copy from the Ancient, I think that sometime there is new idea also presented by labels by modern. We all are live in modern age. Generally  We can find  that mostly modern takes idea and anything from Ancient  but it tries to present different way and by the unique manner. Many times mix up modern and traditional thought then became a new manners.




Que.:-3) Do you think that the arguments presented in favor of the French plays and against English plays are appropriate?


Ans.:-

                                 Yes, I Think that the arguments presented in favor of the English play and against in  French plays are appropriate because in Dryden's say ,'The French plots are barren, while the English ones are copious to further the same action. In  English plays there are number of sub-plot in addition to the main plot.Another things in English play is audience is important rather than  three unity of french play. During the English plays time audience prefer interesting and vivid themes of the plays.French plays are like lifeless and doesn't have subplots as well.





Que.:- 4)What do you preference so far as a poetic or prosaic dialogues are concerned in the play?


Ans.:- 

                                 I would like to go with poetic dialogues in the  plays. Mostly critics like to arguments on the term of rhyme and blank verse. Mostly critics believes that Rhyme and like structure of poem in the play makes the play unnatural. Many playwright use rhyme then the naturalist of dialogues goes out.We can do use of words for appropriate place then there is no point of unmorality. I feel that poetic dialogues are more capable  to readers active and live than prosaic dialogues.

          Respected sir, here I will try to give answers of your Questions according to my understanding .:

                                              In chapter 14 of Biographia  Literaria, S.T. Coleridge thrown his philosophical - critical insights  on following issues.

  • Two Cardinal points of poetry
  • Coleridge's views towards Wordsworth's creed
  • Difference between  Poem and Prose
  • Definition of Legitimate Poem and function of Poem.
  • Difference between Poem and Poetry 


Q.1) Write  in your words the difference between poem and prose.





Ans.:- 

                                My opinion about difference between poem and prose like as, poem and prose both are most important for make literature to reachable. Both has some similarity like as language, vocabulary and ideas of elements. I believe that poem and prose have major differences is that their objectives and subject matters.


                                  Most of the time in the prose arranged lots of information and knowledge of the subjects and any topic. In the prose is try to give truth of  topic of  the any readers.  We can saw in the another side like as poem, Poem is part of the literature. In the poem normally try to explain any thought through creative structure and words. poem structure like as it's discussion of few words with delightful ideas. When reader is reading poem at that time start to produces imagination in readers mind. Its aim to delight the readers with pleasure.


                                 In the prose has simple language, while poem has arranged  languages, rhymes and meter. But it's doesn't means that if the meter is set artificially . Poem is a different parts like language, meter, objectives, poetic imagination and rhymes...etc.


                                  So, I can say that  the chief  objectives of  prose is to give instruction and knowledge about truth and facts and that then it might  give delight. And poem's aim give delight then it might instruct the readers. All are aim depends understanding of  readers.



Q.2) Write  in your words the difference between poem and poetry


Ans.:-





                                             When First time reads poem and poetry at that time I can't understands deference  between poem and poetry. But Poem and Poetry have form of minor differences. Poem is a form of poetry. Poetry's means something like as to create or to make. Poetry is beginning of poem. So we can say that poetry is skill of plantation of  poem. When poet thinking something in mind for writing poetry, during that time  they creates poem in  their  mind. They always think how to  creates a poem using language, rhyme and meter..etc. 


                                           For example:-  A Painter  draws different types of drowning. Thus painter has art to draw difference types pictures like sketch, Oil pastale, Wall painting, collage work...etc. same way poetry is an art to creates different poems like as sonnet, Epic poems, narrative poetry, lyric poetry, metaphysical poetry, duha, haiku, ...etc. Therefore  it can be said, "Poetry is the process and poem is the output."" The Flea" is a poem in the genre of the metaphysical poetry.



Q.3) Give illustrations to support your answer.


Ans.:-
                 
           

                             A poem is the arrangement of words that contain meaning and musical elements. It is a piece of writing that expresses the writer’s thought and feelings in order to set a mood; it can be happy or sad, simple or complex. In just a few words, a poem can say a lot. It can inspire and awe and can be a welcome escape into something that is totally wonderful.



                                Poetry uses rhythm, alliteration and onomatopoeia, which give it a musical effect. It uses symbolism, metaphor, simile, metonymy, irony and ambiguity to suggest different interpretations.




                                          We can see both are Gujarati poem like as metaphysical, symbolical, arrangements of rhyme, give messages indirectly, In the first poem have very nice arrangements words . When readers are reading first poem at that time this poem created imagination in readers mind and reader feels to happiness with delight.


                            Second poem say that I can;t do this...in this poem put appropriate stanzas, rhyme and used simple language. When reader reads poem normally they can understand What is talk that poem?. They can enjoy reading poetry and poem.

GPSC seminar

GPSC seminar: 23 September 2018,Sunday





                                             I am lucky because I am student of Maharajah Krishnakumarsinhji bhavnagar university. A workshop on "Civil Service exam- The best career option through GPSC" organised by Career and Counselling Cell - M.K. Bhavnagar University. This Workshop started to publicity with Atal Auditorium in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Campus. May be this program opened onward 12:00.




                                
                                           

                                         In this program chief guest educational minister of Bhupendrasinh chudasma. Atal Auditorium opened for publicity that day. Many motivational speakers are present during workshop. They were  share own experiences and knowledge. This workshop divided in two parts:



  • Pre- Recess:




  • Anchor:


                                          When I was listen about Himal Pandya's life with struggles  at that time I feel  that I have more things rather than another person. Himal Pandya sir anchored the pre - recess session. He has more experiences and he is  good speaker among them. 


                                            The workshop  begins with speech of Jitendra Pandya. Then another speech by educational minister, our former vice chanceller Shailesh zala,sir...etc. Shailesh sir talked with emotionally with students. He sat about his trouble for  building Auditorium.



  • Post- Recess:



1.) Charansinh Gohil:

                                           Charansinh proper live in village of Panderiya in Sihor. He achieved award of best students in educational life. Nowadays he posted as younger collector of Himatnagar in Sabarkatha.. I like one of the his thought like as, Principal of Darvine. He always says about We will behave and  visualize our self in any our favorite post. He was talked about process of GPSC and UPSC. His wishes is become a doctor but his track was diverse then He became Nayab collector. He decide to prefer for GPSC exam and got 21 rank in it.


                                         He give many example of successful person like as Ashok Dihora, Who is diamond worker  then he became as doctor, Another example of Ira Singhal Who is disable gir. She suffering from Scoliosis but  She proves herself for IAS.


2) Veerabhai Sanbad:


                                        One of the Student of exernal department is veerabhai. His Struggle story very interesting. He passed in lots of social and family problem. Mostly he spoke about  inside and outside  motivation by given some examples of  film's dialogues. He believe in hard works. He seldom talk focus on goal.


3) Vivek Tank:


                                       Vivek tank is good poet. He writes poem. He gives information about class 3 to class 1 level. He often says that our goal should be fixed. Mostly he conversation of never preparation only one exam bet he also say that preparing for another exam.


4) Praveensinh Jaytavat.



                                        I like his speech rather than another speakers because  he have more experiences in GPSC and UPSC exam. He is CA and spoke about burning desires to achieve goal. He gave many example with step of preparing in interview and competitive exam. Only one speakers Praveensinh give long speech without boring.  



  • Questionnaire Session:



                                        In the last stage  organised this session for students. Many of the students ask good question to each speaker then Each speaker give responses properly. Question ask by PG students like as their difficulties, time management among competitive exam and study...etc.


                                       Thus this workshop is completed at 5:00. In the workshop very interesting and inspirational for students. Every thing organised very well like as water bag, breakfast, parking, sitting age.....etc.
